With the win, Edgewood improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Rains (Emory, TX) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, August 15. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Rains lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Paris (Paris, TX)
Next, the Mustangs meet the Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 16. Hughes Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
