In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting La Porte Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Sam Rayburn Texans.

The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Galena Park achieved victory over Lamar (Houston, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Texans now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Fe for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. Sam Rayburn will face a Indians squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Forney (Forney, TX). The Indians record now stands at 2-5.
