Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Springtown upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Porcupines travel to Midway (Waco, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Midway won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX)

Next, the Panthers play the Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Midlothian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over John Paul II (Plano, TX).
