South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting McCollum Cowboys (San Antonio, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, South San Antonio improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bobcats host Winn (Eagle Pass, TX) to face the Mavericks in a 5A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, August 19. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 6-4. Winn lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Del Rio (Del Rio, TX)

The Cowboys now own a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jay for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. McCollum will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-0.
