The King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Orange Grove Bulldogs (Orange Grove, TX), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, King upgrades its record to 2-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX) to face the Lions in a non-league outing on Friday, August 18. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 0-2.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to London for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 22. Orange Grove will face a Pirates squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Manor (Manor, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-7.
