In Friday's non-league game, the Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) football team tipped the visiting Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA), by a final score of 29-26.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Mount Pisgah Christian (Johns Creek, GA). The Patriots come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Mount Pisgah Christian was tipped by Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA), 38-3, in a non-league game.

The Knights now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Business Engineering Science Tech for a non-league game on Thursday, August 24. Midtown will battle a Eagles team coming off a 37-12 non-league loss to Greene County (Greensboro, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
