August 18, 2025: Burbank, CA 91506 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) and the visiting South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA), observed Burroughs's volleyball team top South Hills by a count of 3-0.
The Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA). The Highlanders enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Huskies battle the Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 20. South Hills will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Bearcats enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West Covina (West Covina, CA).
