Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) and the visiting Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC), observed Falls Lake's volleyball team top Wakefield by a count of 3-0.

The Firebirds (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC). The Pride go into the Triangle North 1A/2A battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Henderson Collegiate Howard (Wilson, NC), 0-0, in a non-league battle.

The Wolverines now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26.
