In Friday's non-league outing, the Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) football squad knocked off the visiting St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), by a margin of 42-14.

The Lancers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Hills for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Bishop Amat will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 35-6 non-league win over Highland (Palmdale, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
