Nevada High School Football - St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy tops Sierra Vista

August 22, 2025: Las Vegas, NV 89113

The St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Sierra Vista Mountain Lions to 20 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Crean Lutheran Saints (Irvine, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Saints enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 30-14 non-league win over Mullen (Denver, CO).

The Mountain Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Snow Canyon (St. George, UT). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Snow Canyon ran past Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV), 31-21, in a non-league challenge.
