August 23, 2023: Ada, MI 49301 Forest Hills Eastern Hawks (Ada, MI) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks confront the Ottawa Hills Bengals (Grand Rapids, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Gold challenge, on Monday, August 28. Forest Hills Eastern will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Bengals enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Fremont (Fremont, MI).
The Huskies now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Western for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 26.
