The Otay Ranch Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Mission Bay Buccaneers to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to La Costa Canyon for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23.

The Buccaneers (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Christian was tipped by Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
