The Elkhorn North Wolves overwhelmed the visiting Lincoln Northeast Rockets softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolves meet the Omaha South Packers (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Elkhorn North will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Packers go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 14-4 league loss to Omaha Central (Omaha, NE).

The Rockets (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Panthers go into the A District test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Norfolk was routed by Grand Island (Grand Island, NE), 4-1, in a league test.
