With the win, Peninsula improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Panthers host Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA) to battle the Dolphins in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 26. The Dolphins enter the contest with a record of 1-5. Chadwick lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA)
Next, the Toreadors battle the Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 23. Taft will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA).
