August 25, 2023: Fort Pierre, SD 57532 The Stanley County Buffalos football squad scored 38 points and restricted the visiting DeSmet Bulldogs to 30 in the Buffalos non-league victory on Friday.
The Buffalos now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dupree for a Little Moreau (9 Man) battle on Friday, September 1. Stanley County will play a Tigers squad coming off a 22-6 league loss to Lemmon/McIntosh (Lemmon, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) in a Dakota Valley (9 Man) battle, on Friday, September 1. DeSmet will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 42-6 league loss to Hamlin (Hayti, SD).
