The Highway 6 Trailblazers softball squad (Holdrege, NE), was routed 15-1 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Kearney Catholic Stars (Kearney, NE)

With the triumph, Kearney Catholic improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Stars host Centura (Cairo, NE) to face the Centurions in a match on Tuesday, August 26. The Centurions go into the match with a record of 4-1. Centura won 7-3 in their recent non-league match against O'Neill (O'Neill, NE)

In their next game, the Trailblazers battle the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines (Wilber, NE) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 28. Highway 6 will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Wolverines go into the match with a 4-3 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Auburn (Auburn, NE).
