In Monday's non-league match, the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Cowboys battle the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 6A/7A match, on Tuesday, August 26. Southwest Guilford will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Whirlies enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC).
