In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Downingtown East Cougars volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Strath Haven Panthers.

The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Perkiomen Valley (Collegeville, PA). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record.
