North Carolina High School Football - Highland Tech crushed by Hickory Grove Christian

August 27, 2021: Gastonia, NC 28052

In Friday's non-league game, the Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) football team smashed the host Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), by a final score of 49-0.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against South Carolina Spartans (Rock Hill, SC). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, South Carolina Spartans was routed by Greensboro Panthers (Oak Ridge, NC), 36-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Rams play the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 3. Highland Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 22-6 non-league win over Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC).
