August 27, 2025: El Paso, TX 79925 The Eastwood Troopers football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Riverside Rangers to 0 in the Troopers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Troopers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Chapin for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Eastwood will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 21-7 non-league loss to Franklin (El Paso, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Riverside drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rangers host Parkland (El Paso, TX) to meet the Matadors in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Matadors come into the test with a record of 0-0.
