With the triumph, Lyons upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lions travel to New Trier (Winnetka, IL) to battle the Trevians in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Trevians enter the battle with a record of 1-0. New Trier won 6-1 in their recent non-league match against Palatine (Palatine, IL)
The Ramblers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Taft for a non-league match on Saturday, August 30. Loyola Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
