The Seward Seahawks football team (Seward, AK), was ripped 66-26 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Valdez Buccaneers (Valdez, AK)

The Buccaneers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK). The Ravens come into the Denali challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Ben Eielson was ripped by Monroe Catholic (Fairbanks, AK), 62-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Seahawks now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Homer for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 3. Seward will meet a Mariners team coming off a 34-0 non-league win over Kodiak (Kodiak, AK). The Mariners record now stands at 1-2.
