In Thursday's non-league game, the Martin County Gators (Williamston, NC) football team triumphed over the visiting Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC), by a score of 60-0.

Next, the Gators clash with the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 5. Martin County will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 34-17 non-league loss to Tarboro (Tarboro, NC).
