In Thursday's non-league match, the host Loudoun County Captains football squad scored a decisive 35-0 triumph over the Riverside Ram.

The Captains (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Sherando (Stephens City, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Sherando routed Amherst County (Amherst, VA), 41-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Ram meet the Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 13-10 non-league loss to Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA).
