The Tomball Cougars football squad scored 43 points and limited the visiting Stratford Spartans to 6 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Cinco Ranch Cougars (Katy, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Tomball will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 27-0 non-league loss to The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX).

The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX). The War Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Oak Ridge was overwhelmed by Klein (Klein, TX), 75-20, in a non-league outing.
