New Mexico High School Football - Roswell crushes Carlsbad
August 28, 2025: Carlsbad, NM 88221 Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM), 48-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Roswell advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM) to play the Warriors in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Cavemen/Cavegirls now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Lovington for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Carlsbad will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 52-0 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
