Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Bloomington Central Catholic improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Saints travel to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-0. Dunlap won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Brimfield (Brimfield, IL)

The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cissna Park for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 3. Tri-Valley will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Timberwolves record now stands at 4-0.
