In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Nordonia Knights soccer squad scored a close 2-1 victory over the Lake Blue Streaks.

Next, the Knights face the Wadsworth Grizzlies (Wadsworth, OH) in a Suburban challenge, on Wednesday, September 2. Nordonia will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 4-1 league loss to Hudson (Hudson, OH).
