North Carolina High School Football - Burns loses to Crest
August 29, 2024: Lawndale, NC 28090 Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC), 22-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Crest advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chargers travel to Shelby (Shelby, NC) to play the Golden Lions in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Golden Lions go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Shelby won 14-6 in their recent non-league battle against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC)
The Bulldogs now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Kings Mountain for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. Burns will play a Mountaineers team coming off a 14-8 non-league loss to Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-1.
