Texas High School Football - Community falls to Canton

August 29, 2025: Nevada, TX 75173

The Canton Eagles felled the host Community Braves football team by a score of 34-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Life Waxahachie Mustangs (Waxahachie, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Canton will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 54-13 non-league loss to Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX).

The Braves (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Ford (Quinlan, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Ford topped Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX), 49-28, in a non-league test.
