The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA) and the visiting Garden Grove Argonauts (Garden Grove, CA), witnessed Pacifica's football squad edge Garden Grove by a count of 28-21.

The Mariners (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northwood (Irvine, CA). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Northwood got by Sonora (La Habra, CA), 38-14, in a non-league contest.
