The Midland Christian Mustangs football team (Midland, TX), dropped 17-7 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Graham Steers (Graham, TX)

With the win, Graham advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Steers host Springtown (Springtown, TX) to confront the Porcupines in a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. The Porcupines enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Springtown won 30-9 in their recent non-league contest against Joshua (Joshua, TX)
