Neligh-Oakdale Warriors (Neligh, NE) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs (Humphrey, NE), 34-30 in a non-league battle.

The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Nebraska Christian was tipped by High Plains (Polk, NE), 16-8, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Niobrara/Verdigre for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Humphrey-Lindsay will play a Cougars team coming off a 54-22 non-league loss to Creighton (Creighton, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
