Norris Titans (Firth, NE) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE), 49-3 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Norris advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Titans travel to Gretna (Gretna, NE) to play the Dragons in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Dragons go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Gretna won 51-30 in their recent non-league battle against Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE)

The SkyHawks now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Standing Bear for a non-league match on Friday, September 5. Skutt Catholic will confront a Grizzlies squad coming off a 24-21 non-league win over Blair (Blair, NE). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-0.
