The Scottsbluff Bearcats ran past the visiting Northwest Vikings football squad by a count of 41-19 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bearcats now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln Northwest for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Scottsbluff will face a Falcons team coming off a 42-20 non-league loss to Ralston (Ralston, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
