California High School Football - La Jolla Country Day falls to Mt. Carmel
August 29, 2025: San Diego, CA 92129 The Mt. Carmel Sundevils felled the visiting La Jolla Country Day Torreys football team by a score of 34-8 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Sundevils face the Central Spartans (El Centro, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Mt. Carmel will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 42-12 non-league win over Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA).
With the defeat, La Jolla Country Day drops to 0-1 on the campaign.
