South Dakota High School Soccer - Douglas/Rapid City Christian toppled by Roosevelt
August 29, 2025: Box Elder, SD Roosevelt Rough Riders (Sioux Falls, SD) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Douglas/Rapid City Christian Patriot Comets (Box Elder, SD), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Roosevelt moves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Rough Riders travel to Spearfish (Spearfish, SD) to confront the Spartans in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 0-4. Spearfish lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD)
The Patriot Comets now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Douglas/Rapid City Christian will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 21-2 non-league loss to Yankton (Yankton, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-1.
