The Northglenn Norsemen softball squad (Northglenn, CO), was routed 17-6 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO)

With the triumph, Smoky Hill improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Prairie View (Henderson, CO) to clash with the Thunderhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. The Thunderhawks go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Prairie View won 18-6 in their recent non-league bout against Adams City (Commerce City, CO)

In their next game, the Norsemen clash with the Prairie View Thunderhawks (Henderson, CO) in a 5A/4A Rocky Mountain contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Northglenn will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Thunderhawks enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 13-12 non-league win over Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO).
