Texas High School Volleyball - Vandegrift over Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Vandegrift Vipers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles.

The Vipers (12-15) will now prepare for their test against Westlake (Austin, TX). The Chaparrals go into the non-league test with a 16-7 record. In their last test, Westlake was defeated by Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stony Point for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Reagan (San Antonio, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 13-10.
