Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Gregory-Portland upgrades its record to 15-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Marshall (San Antonio, TX) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Marshall lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Floresville (Floresville, TX)

Next, the Conquistadores play the Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Del Valle will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX).
