Texas High School Volleyball - LEE can't hold off McCollum

August 29, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78221

In Friday's non-league match, the McCollum Cowboys (San Antonio, TX) volleyball team held off the visiting LEE Volunteers (San Antonio, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

The Cowboys now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they host South San Antonio for a 5A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, September 2. McCollum will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Southside (San Antonio, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, LEE drops to 11-7 on the campaign. The Volunteers travel to Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2.
