West Virginia High School Volleyball - Ripley tips Hoover

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) and the host Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), saw Ripley's volleyball squad nip Hoover by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Ripley upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Vikings host Wahama (Mason, WV) to play the White Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 1. The White Falcons go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Wahama lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Tyler (Sistersville, WV)

The Huskies now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Capital for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. Hoover will play a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
