The DeSoto Central Jaguars topped the visiting Hernando Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's league test.

The Jaguars now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Center Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. DeSoto Central will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-5.

The Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL). The Toros enter the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Spanish Fort gained a win over Daphne (Daphne, AL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
