The Arkoma Mustangs (Arkoma, OK) football knocked off the host Bluejacket Chieftains (Bluejacket, OK), 60-42 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canadian for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. Arkoma will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to Empire (Duncan, OK). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Bluejacket drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Cornerstone (Joplin, MO) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 7. The Spartans come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Cornerstone lost 36-6 in their recent league outing against Northland Christian (Kansas City, MO)
