In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Parkland Mustangs football squad scored a good 30-6 triumph over the Atkins Camels.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Carver went down by Lexington (Lexington, NC), 39-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Camels meet the North Forsyth Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 6. Atkins will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
