In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Giddings Buffaloes volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the McMullen County Cowboys.

The Buffaloes (10-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Bryan (Bryan, TX). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 4-15 record.
