August 30, 2025: Hull, IA 51239 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Boyden-Hull Comets volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Newell-Fonda Mustangs.
With the win, Boyden-Hull advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Comets host Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA) to face the NIGHTHAWKS in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The NIGHTHAWKS go into the test with a record of 1-2. Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against West Lyon (Inwood, IA)
The Mustangs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alta-Aurelia for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Newell-Fonda will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sheldon (Sheldon, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-6.
