Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX) and the visiting Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX), observed Gregory-Portland's volleyball team top Canyon Lake by a count of 2-0.

The Wildcats (14-12) will now prepare for their contest against Seguin (Seguin, TX). The Matadors go into the non-league battle with a 12-14 record. In their last battle, Seguin was defeated by Wimberley (Wimberley, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
