In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Millard North Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lincoln East Spartans.

The Mustangs (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Silver Hawks come into the A District challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln Southwest beat Norfolk (Norfolk, NE), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE) in a A District challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Lincoln East will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Northwest (Grand Island, NE).
