California High School Volleyball - Nevada Union over Placer

In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Nevada Union Miners volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Placer Hillmen.

With the win, Nevada Union advances its record to 5-6 on the season. The Miners travel to Ripon (Ripon, CA) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Indians go into the test with a record of 2-1. Ripon lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Woodcreek (Roseville, CA)

The Hillmen now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitney for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Placer will face a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over El Dorado (Placerville, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
